The 15 Most Extra[vagant] Looks from the 2018 Met Gala
While the celebrities, designers and muses attending the Met Gala for the first time may have an excuse to dress with artistic restraint—as it is considered polite to dress modestly in order to avoid overshadowing the seasoned Met veterans—others in attendance at the invitation-only event are expected to make a bold statement through their interpretation of the theme. Out of all the fashion shows and awards events, the first Monday in May is the one day where no one in attendance should feel afraid to overdo it.
